Do I need to create an account?

Yes — because a QRAnchor code is a link that lives on our servers and can be edited later, we need somewhere to save it. Creating an account is free and takes a few seconds.

What happens if I don't subscribe?

You keep your one free QR code forever, fully editable. It only stops working if you delete it. A subscription is only needed if you want to create more than one.

Can I pause a QR code without deleting it?

Yes. Pausing a code makes it show a "no longer active" message when scanned, but keeps your destination and scan history saved in case you turn it back on.

What data do you collect when someone scans my code?

Just the date and time, an approximate device type (phone, tablet, or computer), and the website that linked to it, if any. We never store IP addresses or precise location.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, any time from your account page. Your existing QR codes keep working — you'll just be limited to your free code going forward for new ones.
